Start using your router

Before you start using your router, you need to follow these initial steps. Follow these instructions to start using your router.

Insert your SIM

Turn the back of your router towards you.
Open the cover on the left side of the router.

Insert your SIM

Turn your SIM so that the angled corner is pointing to the bottom right.
Slide your SIM into the holder and press it until it clicks into place.

Insert your SIM

Close the cover again.

Connect the aerials

Slide the cover to the left upwards and remove it.

Connect the aerials

Slide the cover to the right upwards and remove it.

Step 6 of 18

Connect the aerials

Mount the first aerial on the socket to the left.

Connect the aerials

Mount the second aerial on the socket to the right.

Step 8 of 18

Turn on the router

Connect the charger to the router socket and to a wall socket.

Turn on the router

Press the switch to turn on the router.

Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

Do the following in Windows:
Click the Windows icon.

You can find the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot at the back of the router.

It's recommended that you change the password for your Wi-Fi hotspot. Click here for information on how to change the password for your Wi-Fi hotspot.

Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

Click Connect To.

Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

If required, click the refresh icon.

Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

Highlight the name of your Wi-Fi hotspot and click Connect.

You can find the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot at the back of the router.

Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

Key in the password for your Wi-Fi hotspot and click Connect.

You can find the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot at the back of the router.

Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

Click Close.
A connection to your Wi-Fi hotspot is established.

Activate LTE connection

Open a browser window.
Key in 192.168.2.1 in the address bar and press Enter.
Click Start Activation.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Activate LTE connection

Highlight the field next to Please enter LTE-PIN. and key in your PIN.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Activate LTE connection

Click OK.
Wait while your router connects to Vodafone and activates the LTE connection.
The LTE connection is now activated and you can connect to the internet from your computer or other devices.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

2. Connect the aerials

Slide the cover to the left upwards and remove it.
Slide the cover to the right upwards and remove it.
Mount the first aerial on the socket to the left.
Mount the second aerial on the socket to the right.

3. Turn on the router

Connect the charger to the router socket and to a wall socket.
Press the switch to turn on the router.

4. Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

Do the following in Windows:

5. Activate LTE connection

Open a browser window.
