Choose settings for Wi-Fi hotspot

Your router comes with a default name and password which are used when you establish a connection to the internet using your Wi-Fi hotspot. You can change these settings. Follow these instructions to select settings for Wi-Fi hotspot.
Before your can change name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot, you need to follow these initial steps. Click here for information on how to start using the router.

Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

Do the following in Windows:
Click the network icon.

You can find the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot at the back of the router.

It's recommended that you change the password for your Wi-Fi hotspot. Click here for information on how to change the password for your Wi-Fi hotspot.

Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

Highlight the name of your Wi-Fi hotspot and click Connect.

You can find the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot at the back of the router.

Connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot

Key in the password for your Wi-Fi hotspot and click OK.
A connection to your Wi-Fi hotspot is established.

Connect to the router configuration page

Open a browser window.
Key in http://192.168.2.1 in the address bar and press Enter.

You need to remember the password. You need to key in the password again if you want to change the router settings.

If it's the first time you select settings for the router:
Click Login GUI.

Highlight the field next to New Password and key in a password of your own choice.

Highlight the field next to Repeat New Password and key in the password again.

Click OK.

If you've selected settings for the router previously:
Highlight the field next to Login Password.

Key in the password for the router configuration page.
Click Login.

Enter Wi-Fi hotspot name

Click WLAN.

Enter Wi-Fi hotspot name

Highlight the field next to WLAN1 SSID and key in the required name for the Wi-Fi hotspot.

Enter password for Wi-Fi hotspot

Highlight the field next to WLAN1 Network Key and key in the required password for the Wi-Fi hotspot.

Enter password for Wi-Fi hotspot

Click Apply.

Exit

Click the log off icon.

3. Enter Wi-Fi hotspot name

Click WLAN.
Highlight the field next to WLAN1 SSID and key in the required name for the Wi-Fi hotspot.

4. Enter password for Wi-Fi hotspot

Highlight the field next to WLAN1 Network Key and key in the required password for the Wi-Fi hotspot.
Click Apply.

5. Exit

Click the log off icon.
