Set up the device for text messaging
Follow these instructions to set up the device for text messaging.
1. Find "Settings"
Press Applications.
Press Messaging.
Press the Menu key.
Press Settings.
2. Activate or deactivate request for delivery reports
Press Delivery reports below Text message (SMS) settings to activate or deactivate the function.
If you activate request for delivery reports, you will be notified when your text message has been delivered.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.
If you activate request for delivery reports, you will be notified when your text message has been delivered.
3. Save the message centre number
Press Message centre.
Key in +6421600600 and press OK.
4. Deactivate reply path
Press Reply path to deactivate the function.
When the box next to the menu item is empty, the function is deactivated.

5. Exit
Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
