Change PIN
The PIN protects your SIM card from unauthorised use. If the PIN is activated, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on the device. Follow these instructions to change the PIN.
You need to activate use of the PIN before you can change the PIN. Click here to see how.
1. Find "Change SIM PIN"
Press Applications.
Press Settings.
Press Location and security.
Press Set up SIM card lock.
Press Change SIM PIN.
2. Change PIN
Key in your current PIN and press OK.
If a wrong PIN is entered three times in a row, the SIM card is blocked. To unblock the SIM card, you need to key in the PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.
Please note:
If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, the SIM card is blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM card from your operator.

Key in a new four-digit PIN and press OK.

Key in the new PIN again and press OK.

3. Exit
Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
