Restore factory default settings

If your tablet gets slow or doesn't work as it usually does, it may help to restore the factory default settings. All settings and configurations you've made on your tablet are deleted.

Step 1 of 6

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your tablet.
Press the settings icon.

Step 2 of 6

Press General.

Step 3 of 6

Press Backup and reset.

Step 4 of 6

Press Factory data reset.

Step 5 of 6

Press Reset device.

Step 6 of 6

Press Erase everything.
Wait a moment while the factory default settings are restored.
Follow the instructions on the display to set up your tablet and prepare it for use.

1. Find "Factory data reset"

2. Restore factory default settings

Press Reset device.
Press Erase everything.
Wait a moment while the factory default settings are restored.
Follow the instructions on the display to set up your tablet and prepare it for use.
