Write and send an iMessage

iMessages can be sent to phone numbers or email addresses if the recipient has a device which supports iMessages. Remember, you need to set up your tablet for iMessaging.

Create new iMessage

Press Messages.

Create new iMessage

Press the new message icon.

Select recipient

Key in the first letters of the required contact.

Matching contacts are displayed.

Press the required contact.

Press the camera icon.

Press Send when you've written your iMessage.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

5. Send iMessage

Press Send when you've written your iMessage.

6. Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
